There are a lot of reasons to build a list these days as an internet marketer and within Instant Affiliate Paydays you will be shown how to go about this but today I want to cover some of the reasons why you should be building a list.
"The money is in the list"…that is the infamous expression when people talk about list building. I know there is a trend out there to make one time sales pages and just rinse and repeat till you get to the top and while I do recommend building multiple pages and the rinse and repeat strategy I also know that building a list can cut your workload in half by simply allowing you to market to the same group of people multiple times rather than always having to be in a position to drive more and more traffic to your offers.
Having a list can become very "push button" because when you have built a solid list you build up trust and form a relationship and then when there is something you are promoting it can be a very natural crossover to send out a notice to your subscribers. It does not even have to come across like a sales pitch or pushy because when people trust you and appreciate your blog or websites content they want to be able to emulate and follow along and will be more than happy to do what you tell them to do.
Inside Instant Affiliate Paydays info there is a lot of content about proper list building but let's go over some of the basics here.
The key to a good mailing list is to really provide value and free content and training. If all you ever do is pitch, pitch, pitch to your list people will eventually stop opening your emails or unsubscribe. You need to be someone in their mind that when they see an email from you that is gonna be the very first thing they open.
You have to build that excitement.
Always respect your list and let them know you appreciate them by providing solid training and giving out good information for free. This may seem counterintuitive to some just starting, as if by giving away free content you will be shooting yourself in the foot cause then there is nothing for them to buy. However, it actually works the opposite way. The more content and freebies you give out the better that relationship is going to be.
A really good example here is that if you are giving away a series of video training it is a high quality and very useful freebie and then not promoting but by simply suggesting tools that will be necessary to utilize the training and then putting in your affiliate link to these products can be a very cool way to get sales while still earning their trust and respect and then later down the line you can be more open about "buy this" or "check this out" and it will not be shady because they already want to hear what you have to say.
Stick around cause I'll be putting up an official InstantPaydays Review here as we get closer to the launch date next month.
Good luck!
